Was so disappointed in Oprah after watching the Tony Robbins piece on OWN last night I have ceased to trust Oprah. First time I've ever felt this way about her. Throughout the entire show she was anxious about "walking on fire" as was I. So I hung in all night waiting for the moment when Oprah would decide if she could go through with it. She did. SHE WAKLKED ON FIRE! I told my science teacher daughter about it as soon as I met with her today, thinking Oprah was really something. But her partner during the 12 hour "This is not a motivational seminar" motivational seminar also "walked on fire". Then she commented that her whole crew also "walked on fire". But I'm still trusting in Oprah because I've always thought of her as exceptional and true. Meanwhile, my daughter gets this big old "you silly fool" grin on her face and googles "walking on fire" and reads it to me. I was duped by Oprah, and like the fool that I surely am now, I'm rediculously reduced to shame. And shame on you too Oprah!

I cnt believe there are so many immature, disrepectful jerks writing those nasty comments....where are their parents??? Or are THEY parents...scary. Anyway I just wanted to vent about all the commercials, they last longer than the program so its so frustrating. I end up changing the channel...And its not only the amount and length of the ads, you are sooo repetitious, esp when showing upcoming interviews with "stars" By the time I see the commercials 30, 40 times, I dont want to watch the interviews! Im sorry but it is very annoying. Its a shame because the shows and movies are so good!! I guess you have to make the money with the ads, but try to switch it up a little.... God bless you Oprah and all your crew!!! take are...Kat

i love the programs on this channel;however,like Oprahs magazine, it is discouraging to watch/read with ALL the advertizing/commercials. actually, it is to the extent that i no longer purchase. the magazine and as far as this channel, i am reluctant to engage in any programs on this network because of it

Teaching Tolerance - (12) random high schools, Chicago, NY, LA, Kansas ... let them teach us. Give them an assembly type format - they can give speeches, write a play, sing songs, poetry ... let this generation tell us what tolerance is - 1 hr. 1 pr month. From Columbine to Gifford, it is their world. Let their voice be heard. I think that would be a good show that your producers can work out.
and while your on location, do an open mic. Give people their 15 min of fame. Another 1 hr. show.
More important, thank you! I have always been grateful to be on this planet with you. You have changed this world in a beautiful way. You have changed our vocabulary - them have become us and things that are in far away parts of this world, I now see as my back yard.
I love that the "N" word is an offensive kick in the gut, still waiting for the word "b i t c h" to have the same affect.
There is a lot of work to be done.
I love OWN - I tune in way more than I thought I would.
